METROWALK COMMERCIAL COMPLEX, Ortigas Center, Pasig City, Metro Manila
Metrowalk is one of Manila’s foremost commercial hubs. A 5,000 square meter parcel of land located at Ortigas Center, Metrowalk is very popular for both the teenagers and the adults. The place is very much accessible for its location is at the center of Pasig City’s business district, and is also near the city’s affluent residential communities. The commercial complex caters to bars, restaurants, coffee shops, salons, and is also considered as a shopping center. On weekends, Metrowalk holds events where local performers and artists entertain the commercial complex’s customers. Metrowalk is the perfect spot to party and to shop.
Depending on one’s location, Metrowalk is actually quite easy to locate.
From Makati City:
Take EDSA heading north. Make a right turn at Ortigas Avenue, Pasig. Go along Ortigas Avenue then follow the road heading to Meralco Avenue. Along Meralco Avenue is a bridge. Do not go over the bridge. Instead, make a U-turn under the bridge, and 50 meters to your right you will find Metrowalk Commercial Complex.
From C5 Road:
From C5 highway, make a right turn at Julia Vargas Avenue. Turn right at Meralco Avenue, and 50 meters to your right you’ll see Metrowalk Commercial Complex.
From Greenhills San Juan, Go straight along Ortigas Avenue, Pasig. Cross the EDSA intersection of Ortigas Avenue, and follow the road heading to Meralco Avenue. Make a U-turn under the bridge, and 50 meters to your right is the Metrowalk Commercial Complex.
From Eastwood, take Libis highway and go over the bridge connecting to C5 highway. Make a right turn at Julia Vargas Avenue. Make a right at Meralco Avenue, and 50 meters to your right you’ll find Metrowalk Commercial Complex.
From Cainta, Go along Ortigas Extension heading to Pasig City. Take the Ortigas Extension bridge. Make a left turn at Meralco Avenue. Make a U-turn under the bridge and 50 meters to your right is the Metrowalk Commercial Complex.
Going Around Metrowalk:
Since Metrowalk is quite small, one may simply walk around the place to completely check out the establishments. There is no need to ride shuttles nor cabs to go around the complex.
Metrowalk is studded with bars where most teenagers and yuppies hangout to drink and chill out after office hours or during the weekends. The bars also accommodate bands and live performers for the entertainment of customers. Aside from beer and other alcoholic beverages, most bars in Metrowalk serve sumptuous pulutan or food and snacks eaten while drinking beer.

Metrowalk offers a selection of restaurants where one could choose their preferred cuisine. The commercial complex has restaurants that serve American, Italian, Japanese, Persian, and Filipino cuisine. The complex also has Starbucks, where people usually hangout to drink coffee after dining.
At Metrowalk’s 2nd floor, a shopping haven is found. Numerous shops offer the latest fashion clothes, shoes, bags, accessories, and even novelty items. A shopper may haggle her way on buying something worth PHP100.00, down to PHP50.00, depending on one’s haggling skills and charm.
Fruit stands are also found at the parking lot behind the commercial complex, where one could buy a selection of the freshest fruits.
